Job Summary 

The Cell Phone Technician is responsible for configuring, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and refurbishing cell phones and other electronic equipment as required, and performing inventory control including Approved Certified Data Destruction (CDD) of cell phones, and occasionally other electronic equipment, by wiping/destroying drives as per Client specs and SOW requirements, as well as registration and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The position

  • Test, analyze, diagnose, and repair all existing and incoming mobile and electronic Devices and Parts/Components to ensure products are fully functional.
  • Inspect parts ensuring quality compliance.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot product faults, and adjust, replace, or repair.
  • Install, remove, and maintain various cell phone devices.
  • Perform data sanitization and factory reset.
  • Unlocking

Your Qualifications & Abilities:

  • Minimum High School graduate
  • 2 + years (minimum) of experience working in a cellular repair environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
  • Experience in repairing wireless products from cosmetic changes, screens, batteries, internal components, software, flashing and unlocking.
  • Experience performing troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and testing on various mobile products, including Android, iPhone’s, iPads.
  • Strong technical background in electronics.
  • Flexible, fast learner with the ability to multi-task.
